About the Meauxmentum Project

The Meauxmentum Project is a statewide initiative funded by the Louisiana Board of Regents – Division for Academic Affairs and Innovation, in partnership with SOVA (Strategic Outcomes for Visionary Advancement). With an award of $100,000 per participating institution, the project is designed to support campus efforts that advance student success through high-impact, scalable academic strategies. Aligned with Louisiana’s Master Plan for Public Postsecondary Education, the Meauxmentum Project enables institutions to pursue one of two strategic tracks:

  • Catapult Courses – Redesigning or enhancing individual credit-bearing courses to deepen learning and improve credential completion outcomes.
  • Curricular Engagement – Embedding career readiness or experiential learning across programs or departments through pathway development, program mapping, and broader curriculum-wide strategies.

This initiative includes virtual office hours with SOVA partners, access to a growing resource hub, and individualized planning support to foster collaboration, innovation, and measurable student impact.

Project Timeline

  • Project funds must be fully expended by December 31, 2026
  • Final reports are due by December 31, 2026

The Master Plan

To move Louisiana aggressively forward, the Board of Regents has embraced a robust new attainment goal that calls for 60% of all working-age adults (ages 25-64) in Louisiana to hold a degree or high-value credential by 2030. As we stand on the brink of a new decade, this Master Plan, born of the Board of Regents’ unique charge to guide postsecondary education across the state, will set the foundation to increase opportunity.
