2023 Untapped Talent Summit: Unlocking Possibilities Together
Friday, April 28, 2023
7 AM – 4 PM
Pennington Biomedical Research Center Conference Center
The Louisiana Board of Regents hosts its first Untapped Talent Summit on April 28, 2023, at the Pennington Conference Center in Baton Rouge. This inaugural event is aimed at uncovering the additional damage inflicted upon those that have been justice-impacted and justice-involved, even after they have paid their debt to society, and spreading awareness of the value this untapped population can bring to local business and industry. This population not only provides an important labor solution, but also can advance reunited families’ stability, economic development, and general community betterment.

Educate, Innovate, and Collaborate
The Master Plan
To move Louisiana aggressively forward, the Board of Regents has embraced a robust new attainment goal that calls for 60% of all working-age adults (ages 25-64) in Louisiana to hold a degree or high-value credential by 2030. As we stand on the brink of a new decade, this Master Plan, born of the Board of Regents’ unique charge to guide postsecondary education across the state, will set the foundation to increase opportunity. Our Talent Imperative is to Educate, Innovate, and Collaborate
