Executive Order No. JML 25-083 established the Governor’s Task Force on Public Higher Education Reform within the Executive Department, Office of the Governor to lead statewide engagement on accreditation reform aligned with institutional autonomy, academic excellence, and federal requirements. The Task Force shall report its findings and recommendations no later than January 30, 2026, including those for the 2026 Regular Legislative Session.
